Knowles Corporation (NYSE: KN) is launching a new RAB Series receiver
for the hearing health, premium audio, and communications industries.
The receiver’s small dimensions and high efficiency make it ideal for a
number of applications including miniature hearing aids, Bluetooth
headsets, communications earpieces, and premium music earphones.
Knowles optimized the RAB Series receiver with a popular form factor
that simplifies the implementation process for hearing health and
premium audio customers. The RAB Series provides relatively low magnetic
radiation performance, which eases the design of hearing aids and smart
wearables using telecoils or other magnetically sensitive components.
The small size of the RAB Series receiver enables manufacturers to offer
consumer devices that are more comfortable, more discrete, and deliver a
more enjoyable listening experience. The low power consumption receiver
helps preserve battery life and contributes to longer operating times
between recharges.
